## What it is

pip.travel is a marketplace for local experiences in Norway, from northern lights safaris to dog sledding. Tour operators connect their activities through Bókun, and hosts such as cabin owners, hotels and B&Bs recommend them to their guests and earn a commission when they book. Travellers book and pay on pip.travel.

## A new company

Peep AS started as a client: I designed and built its first travel platform from scratch. I’ve since taken over the company, and we’re now developing it as a new company with new partners. I’m the founder and CEO, and the company’s site is [peepas.no](https://peepas.no/).

_The new company site, peepas.no._

## How it’s built

An Angular frontend with server-side rendering and a Node.js backend on PostgreSQL, with Stripe for payments and Bókun as the source of truth for activities, availability and bookings.
