Gecko Capital: Document Publishing Site
A lightweight website for publishing company documents, with the server setup and deployment done by me.
The build
This one is deliberately small. An investment firm needed a clean, credible site whose main job is publishing documents and serving them reliably. No CMS bloat. I wrote a Flask application and set up the infrastructure it runs on, which I also operate myself.
What I did
The Flask app handles content and document delivery. On the server side I did the Nginx configuration, SSL and hardening, plus deployment and the ongoing operations.
Outcome
A fast, boring-in-the-good-way site that does one thing well: it gets the right documents to the right people.
